After decades of experience developing world class mining equipment, cousins Brett and Jake Salomon founded Mechanize with a clear mission: to revolutionize industry with safer, more innovative equipment. Utilising their expertise in the invention, design, development, and deployment of new equipment, their vision is to leverage local and national manufacturing speed and quality to rapidly deliver new technological solutions that can dramatically improve both safety of personnel and efficiency of operations.
Since its inception in 2024, Mechanize has grown to become a high-functioning team of professionals, and partnered with local and global experts to expand capability in prototyping and manufacturing.

With 20 years of experience in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, Brett has led various multi-disciplinary teams in the design and development of world leading equipment in the mining, construction and defence industries.
Specialising in conception, prototyping and development of first-of-type equipment and management of cross-functional design teams, Brett is passionate about leveraging new technologies in real-world applications.
Jake Salomon Director and Co-founder
BEng (Hons), MBA, RPEQ, CPEng, CMSE
Jake has 19 years of experience in Mechanical design, with a focus on value engineering, manufacturing and implementation in the mining, agriculture, energy and construction industries.
With a history of full-scope project management and execution, including commissioning and installations of world-first equipment at various international sites, Jake is driven by the delivery and consolidation of sustained value to the end-user.
